Rant #79

Why is it that my bathroom time has automatically become a free for all to attack me with questions, complaints, and screaming? Whether it's the bathroom or shower, does NOT make a difference. They must disturb me.

Observation #589

Every week or two, I go to the Korean Supermarket and buy up a bunch of fresh fruits and vegetables. I get so excited over the amazing prices that I stock up, thinking, "Yesssss! I'm going to be so healthy." Fast forward to me either forgetting they exist or them going bad in the fridge :/.

Watch What You Say...

I usually speak only in Arabic to my kids. Often, when I'm angry, the English will come out, because it's my stronger language. The other day, my older son wasn't listening, and I got angry and said, "I swear to God!" Now he's walking around saying "I'm scared of GOD!" Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The baby is copycatting and saying "Scare God!" Sheesh.

Stepping on a Lego on my sprained ankle while blindly carrying a huge load of laundry down the stairs = amazingness. Yes the Lego culprit is still alive, he decided to help with the next load of laundry...
