I Wonder...

Before I had my kids, I didn't have too many friends with kids, so I never used to hear the regular mommy rants and issues that I am currently dealing with. Whenever I hear my single and/or childless friends complain about how exhausted they are, I want to scream, "YOU HAVE NO IDEA!!!" I'm curious to ask my friends who are recent first time mothers if they used to get annoyed with me, whenever I would complain about how tired I am being home all day with the kids.  Now that the shoe is on the other foot, how are they feeling and dealing with their issues. I'm probably right in thinking that it's much more exhausting being a mother than working, but I'll keep my opinions to myself...

Uhhh really, Bounty? When has any mother, in the history of motherhood, encouraged wasteful messiness? I'm beyond annoyed at this commercial. A little boy sits and blows bubbles in his chocolate milk, and his baby brother happily encourages him to do it again, meanwhile the mother is smiling at the lovely mess. RIGHT! That happens in real life. Give me a real mom who sees this, flips out, and tells her son to stop being wasteful and making a mess, also it's bad manners and gross. The cherry on top is when the baby starts doing the same, and the mother says to him, "Again!" I mean, COME ON!!! This is, ultimately, one of the most absurd and ridiculous commercials I have seen in a longgggg time.

I think I'll keep using my Viva paper towels, at least their commercials aren't so ridiculous...
